OptiBlend® technology allows your conventional diesel engine to run natural gas as its primary fuel without modifying the engine or the current diesel fuel system. It enables you to lower your fuel costs, reduce emissions, and increase run-time of the system without making any changes to the DG set and the storage tank.
The OptiBlend® System is an innovative retrofit technology developed for a wide range of diesel engine application. It can be installed on any high speed diesel genset having four stroke engine. This economical kit displaces diesel with natural gas or other alternative fuels, without modifications to the internal components or the stock fuel management system. It dramatically lowers operational cost, increases back up runtime, reduces emissions, and extends engine life. It has been successfully installed on engines rating from 150 kW to 2.5 MW.
OptiBlend® technology allows your conventional diesel engine to use natural gas as its primary fuel without modifying the engine or the diesel fuel system.
Tunes the engine across the entire load range (10%-100%) for optimized emission benefits and cost saving.
Three levels of alarm (Lo, Hi, HiHi) ensures safety of engine. If gas supply is interrupted or other system fault, system automatically switches to 100% diesel operation.
Fast response of system (in milliseconds) enables handling of jerk loads and block loads efficiently.
System has fully automatic, electronically controlled gas control valve that provides optimized displacement at multiple loads along with safe introduction of gas.
Natural gas being cleaner fuel, less carbon is deposited providing reduction in CO , NOx, CO, PM levels.
Maintains engine power equivalent to 100% diesel operation.
